At Computex Taipei on June 1, 2026, Jensen Huang, CEO of NVIDIA, unveiled RTX Spark (internal codename N1X), a new super chip tailored for Windows PCs, marking the AI chip giant’s official foray into the core PC processor sector to compete directly with Intel and AMD which have long dominated the market.
Fabricated via TSMC’s 3nm advanced process, the chip integrates NVIDIA’s next-gen Blackwell architecture GPU and a 20-core Arm-based Grace CPU, equipped with 128GB unified memory. Co-developed by NVIDIA and MediaTek, it is fully compatible with Microsoft’s Arm-based Windows operating system, representing in-depth collaboration among NVIDIA, Microsoft, Arm and other tech leaders.
Leading PC brands including Dell, Lenovo, ASUS, HP and MSI will launch laptops and desktops equipped with RTX Spark starting from autumn 2026. Apart from N1X, lighter-weight N1 chips and follow-up models N2X and N3X are already under development.
